The 15th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been released.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the installment by pressing a button at an event in Khunti, Jharkhand on November 15, 2023. Under this installment, a total of Rs 18,000 crore has been distributed to more than 8 crore farmers across the country at Rs 2,000-2,000 each.
Under this scheme, the Government of India provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year to all small and marginal farmers in the country. This assistance is provided in three installments, each of Rs 2,000.
